UPDATE: The first day of school for all students (K-5) is Wednesday, September 16th at 8:45am.
Dear Lamb Families,
Welcome back to school! 2020 has certainly brought many challenges, and through emergency school closures, COVID-19 and wildfires, I have been so proud to be a part of the Lamb community. We appreciate all that you have done, and continue to do for your families, our students, and our school community. For those of you who I haven’t met yet, or are new to the community, welcome to Lamb Elementary! My name is Cherice Cochrane, and this will be my fourth year as Principal at Lamb. Our Lamb mission statement is: Growing strong hearts and minds for a bright future.
Unfortunately we will not be able to host our Popsicles with the Principal, or Open House events this year. We will be continuously sharing updates through our school website https://lamb.salkeiz.k12.or.us/, Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/lambpatriots/, Remind, and autodialer calls and emails. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you this week to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have regarding the start of the year.
Our walk or drive thru pick up event is scheduled for Monday, September 14th from 8am-4pm. Please stop by at any time to pick up school supplies, personal belongings from last year, or to check out or exchange chromebooks. Also, yearbooks ($10) and Lamb gear ($7-$20) will be available for sale via cash or check.
The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, September 16th at 8:45. School will begin in comprehensive distance learning, so please ensure that your child has a chromebook, internet access, and their login information. If you need help with any of those things, please contact the school office! Students will login to their computers with their username and password and then can access Seesaw (K-2) or Canvas (3-5) through the district webpage. https://salkeiz.k12.or.us/students/student-logins/
Thank you for all of your patience and support!
